Abstract:Water is one of the most important substances on earth (75% of Earth is water). All plants and animals must have water to survive." If there was no water there would be no life on earth. Water wastage is one of the major concerns in day to day life. Water Level Controllers (W.L.C) are used in some places to avoid overflow of tank water. To overcome this we are designing the system which will work like SMART CONTROLLER. There are many Water Level Controllers which are available in market but, there is no such device/controller which we can operate through mobiles. In our paper, we have created a Multi-Tank Water Level Controller (W.L.C) using a micro-controller for accuracy and reliability. We provide a GSM module (Global System for Mobiles) so that the person can operate the system from anywhere or any location just by sending a message (SMS). The pumps turns automatically ON/OFF after some event occurs and even through SMS we can turn ON the pump of any tank by just sending message - “ON” and it will “OFF” automatically once it reaches to the highest level i.e. 100% . Water level is shown through percentage (i.e. 25%, 50%, 75%, 100%) display on the LCD screen available on hardware and also user can get the status of available water in all tanks in the form of message on their mobile phones.
